Aurora, CO – (September 22, 2025) – On Friday, September 19, a tragic multi-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 225 near Smith Road claimed a person’s life. The Aurora Police Department confirmed that four vehicles were involved. The collision forced the closure of northbound lanes for several hours while emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene.
